IL Congresso Eucaristico Nazionale è un evento che coinvolge e interpella l\’intera comunità ecclesiale italiana. nella comune fede (li adorazione di Cristo Signore e nel comune impegno missionario. "Signore da chi andremo? l'Eucaristia per la vita quotidiana". In queste due frasi, la prima del Vangelo di Giovanni (6,68), la seconda, frutto dell'intuizione del Comitato nazionale dei Congressi Eucaristici, si riassume il tema del Congresso Eucaristico di Ancona. Il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI, nell'Esortazione Apostolica Post-Sinodale "Sacramentum Caritatis" ci ricorda che "I fedeli cristiani hanno Pisogno di una più profonda comprensione delle relazioni fra l'Eucaristia e la vita quotidiana". L'evento diventa quindi occasione per rileggere, alla luce dell'Eucaristia, gli amPiti della vita quotidiana già evidenziati dal Convegno Ecclesiale di Verona del 2006 e per rivisitare alcuni "luoghi" della testimonianza che il discepolo di Gesù è chiamato a dare. Il Congresso vuole raccogliere il grido e la speranza della società contemporanea ed insieme offrire l'Eucaristia come sacra¬mento di salvezza e presenza viva del Signore Risorto. National Eucharislic Congress is an occasion that involves the whole ecclesiastical communily, in the common faith in Christ and in Ihe common missionary engagement. "Lord, to whom shall we go? The Eucharist for daily life". In these two phrases, the first of the Gospel according Giovanni (6,68), the second one, the result of the intuition of Ihe national Committee ot Hie Eucharistic Conferences, its sum up the theme of the Eucharistic Congress of Ancona. The Holy father Benedict XVI, in the posl-synodal apostolic exhortation "Sacramentum Caritatis'" remembers to us lhat "the Christian believers need of a deeper understanding of Ihe relations between Ihe Eucharist and Ihe dally life'. The event becomes therefore the occasion in order read again, in the light of the Eucharist, the within of the daily life already stressed on the occasion of Ecclesial Meeting of Verona in 2006 and in order consider again some "places" of the testimony thai Ihe disciple of Jesus have to give. The Congress wants to represent the hope of the current society and together offer the Eucharist as a sacrament of salvation and presence of the Jesus risen.
