Contratti EPCC aggiudicati da parte di HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited, una jv tra Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Limited Singapore e Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (ente del governo indiano) per la realizzazione di una unità di polietilene ad alta densità e una unità di polipropilene a Bathinda, Punjab, in India settentrionale
Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. annuncia che la sua principale controllata Tecnimont S.p.A. si è aggiudicata, in consorzio con la sua affiliata indiana Tecnimont Private Limited, due contratti EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction e Commissioning) Lump Sum da parte di HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) per l’implementazione di una nuova unità di polietilene ad alta densità (HDPE) ed una nuova unità di polipropilene (PP). Le unità saranno realizzate accanto alla raffineria Guru Gobind Singh a Bathinda, Punjab, in India settentrionale.
HMEL è una joint venture tra Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited e Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Limited.
Il valore complessivo dei contratti EPCC lump sum è di circa USD 225 milioni. Lo scopo dei progetti comprende attività di Engineering, Procurement, Construction e Commissioning fino ai Performance Guarantees Test Run, per le sezioni di purificazione dei monomeri e le aree di polimerizzazione. Una volta completate, la nuova unità HDPE avrà una capacità di 450.000 tonnellate all’anno, mentre la nuova unità PP di 500.000 tonnellate all’anno. Il periodo di esecuzione è di 25 mesi per la Mechanical Completion.

Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that its subsidiary Tecnimont S.p.A., in consortium with its Indian affiliate Tecnimont Private Limited, has been awarded two EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) Lump Sum contracts by HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL), for the implementation of a new High-Density Polyethylene unit (HDPE) and a new Polypropylene unit (PP). The units will be located adjacent to Guru Gobind Singh Refinery at Bathinda, Punjab, in northern India.
HMEL is a joint venture formed by Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Limited Singapore and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd..
The overall value of the EPC Lump Sum contracts is in the range of USD 225 million. The projects’ scope entails Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities up to the Performance Guarantees Test Run of the monomer purification sections and the polymerization areas. Once completed, the new HDPE unit will have a capacity of 450,000 tons per year, while the new PP unit will have a capacity of 500,000 tons per year. The time schedule is 25 Months for Mechanical Completion.
